Brad Mager has degrees in Physics and Linguistics, has studied graphic
design and advertising, and now spends much of his time developing
marketing materials as a freelance copywriter. Which just goes to
show how unpredictable life is.
Brad got involved in publishing electronic books and dictionaries
in 1993, back when CD-ROMs were taking over and the Internet was becoming
the new frontier. Around that time he wrote a short book about the
discovery of Pluto, as a way of testing the abilities of some new
electronic publishing software. He later reconfigured the book and
gave it a home on its own website.
As a copywriter and marketing consultant, Brad has worked with a
wide variety of businesses big and small -- from wineries, law firms,
and financial newsletters, to banks, software companies, and a copper
mine. His business website is at www.MagerMarketing.com.
Brad also creates digital and traditional art, has produced short
videos, plays music, and might enjoy long walks on the beach were
he not five hundred miles from the nearest ocean. Instead, a hike
in the mountains satisfies his need to commune with nature, and he
generally avoids outdoor sports that involve a lot of gear, high speeds,
or the chance to experience freefall either by accident or design.
